The Good Old Annual Trip

3 May 2011, Comments: 2

Mike just got back from his annual bass fishing trip out to Washington. He’s been doing this trip for 21 years! The water was still a little cold for great fishing, but with 32 anglers taking part in the trip, all friends and family, I’m sure they managed to have some fun……

Now we're talkin'

Can’t say I’ve ever had an honest annual trip…did Jackman, Maine a few years in a row, Pulaski, New York a few in a row…..There are certainly spots I fish at the same time, year after year ( I miss the stripers at the mouth of the Narrow River on the first moon in May, but Montana isn’t bad this time of year either),…. but never had one as serious as that.  21 years in a row…pretty impressive. Must be fun….beer, poker, and fishing….not a bad way to spend a week.

So, for those of you who haven’t heard, Adipose Boatworks is now the proud owner of South Fork Skiffs. There are a lot of people who love a South Fork, us include. Look for us to start putting them out again sometime around the end of the summer-early fall. They’ll be simple, they’ll be basic, they’ll be rowing machines…..just like the original South Forks. For those of you who want a little bit smaller of a boat, the South Fork is tough to beat….we’re pumped to have it!

No frills, just a fishing machine
