The New South Fork Oars Have Arrived!

Finally, the new South Fork Skiff oars have arrived from Sawyer….and they look pretty sharp. We carry two kinds here at Adipose Boatworks; The fan favorite Square Tops and also the all wood shaft.

Of course, local outfitter Mitch “Super Guide” Kowalski was the first to pick some up….two pairs, one for him, one for his uncle. Enjoy em’ Mitch!

Notice all the snow still in the hills. Mother Nature...we all love you, but enough is enough.

Big thanks to everyone at Sawyer Paddles and Oars out in Talent, OR. They do a great job keeping us stocked with the best oars on the planet.

More boats went out this week. Local outfitter Mike Kuhnert of Evolution Fly Fishing got his “blacked out” version. If you know Kuhnert, you know how appropriate that is…….Also, local guide Kurt Michels picked up his burnt orange boat and custom wood seat. Two custom colors in one week and they both look killer. Thats what we like to see!

Lookin' slick Kuhnert

Finally, Mountain Home, Arkansas guide Larry Babbin of Blue Ribbon Fly Shop received his new Adipose Boatworks Skiff early this week. We’re pumped to have a boat down there. Can’t wait to get down to Arkansas and do some smallmouth fishing! We couldn’t resist sending some Montana brew to  AR, and with a Yeti Cooler, you know it arrived ice cold.

We’re seeing some heavy precipitation in Montana…..snow up high, rain down low pretty much every day….. small streams are muddy, tailwaters are pretty much the only game in town. So, head up to the Missouri. Andrew is headed up tomorrow to fish with local outfitter Joel Silverman and Kurt Michels…hopefully they put some fish slime in Kurt’s new boat.
