This and That

Nice cool day in Helena today….Mother Nature is giving us a little respite from the heat. The shop guys have been on a 4:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. schedule to avoid the high temps….now they’re back to a 7:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. and loving it.

Lots of different things going on at the shop. Just sent E.J. Sigety’s boat out to PA….pretty fun jet to build and turned out pretty bad-ass.

We’ve got the SeaArk dealer show coming up in mid-September in Monticello, Arkansas. Tracy is headed down to see the new boats for 2012 and kick around some our ideas for the builders down there….Just doing our part to bring the best rowable jet boats to your garage.

Mike spent last weekend down at a Red’s Fly Shop event in Ellensburg, Washington. He brought another boat out for Red’s to add to their rental fleet and spent a couple of days with the guys out there before heading to the coast to fish for a few days with former Helena fisherman Duke Fisher….apparently the fishing wasn’t great but the drinking made up for it….standard.

Here’s the latest boat repair at the shop. Roger Grummel from the Missouri River with and old, banged up South Fork Skiff…..he brought her to us for a little revival…..

Thats about it…everyone here is pretty pumped up for hunting, steelhead fishing, and the fall trout fishing in store for us in the next few months.  Andrew heads home on Saturday to chase stripers around for awhile. Mike and Tracy are getting ready for some late September steelhead fishing….good times for all.
